The six of them stood avoiding settling their eyes on anything that would draw this out.
Each a hero and now each facing a future that held the unknown.
"They can never know... they can never know what we once was" The blond woman declared taking the moment to express what they had all come here to say.
It was over and the days of Superman and the Justice League were fading into the twilight.
"We're doing what is right... for them, the world needs heroes but we can't be them anymore" The strong and quiet cyberman declared never once raising his eyes to meet those of the people he still considers friends.
"I'm not going to make excuses... I want to mourn my husband. I want my children to be normal" The feisty and grieving reporter exclaimed with determination that bubbled from the loss of her love.

The World remembered the day Superman disappeared and The Justice League retired.
It was the day the villains came out to play once more.
The call for heroes has been loud and echoing. The time for the mask protectors has come once more and the children of those six heroes will take their place on the streets to save the world.
A past evil is determined to keep the balance of the world in favor of evil and will stop at nothing to keep the heroes from reaching their destines.
But the question is where will you stand in this new fight?
