Chase was really annoyed. As usual. She was getting sick and tired of teaching those ungrateful little brats who attended the school. It wasn't like she could actually look forward to the summer, because the school goes on all year long. In the summer it isn't as intense though. It gives students the choice to take certain classes they haven't taken. And they get to pick their teacher. The one thing that Chase was hoping, was that everyone thought she had been so mean, no one would pick her. Because then she'd only have to come in for hall duty or her athletic director job.
It wouldn't be so terrible. So, her morning started off as all of her previous mornings had. Chase woke up on the wrong side of the bed, took a shower, got dressed, made some coffee, and then headed off to her dumb teaching job. There was nothing in the world that hated more than teaching. But it wasn't like she could get any other job, with the bad economy and all. She marched up the front stairs to the school, missing the morning rush that was only about ten minutes away.
As she walked towards her class room, she fished around her pocketbook for her keys. But they weren't there. "Are you kidding me?" Chase asked herself outloud, and rapidly began looking for her keys again. Close, but no cigar. "God damn it!" She exclaimed and checked to see if the door had been left unlocked. Of course not. Chase stared at the door for a few moments, before deciding she should just charge at the door. She got ready and took a deep breath. Then, she took off and thrusted her entire weight towards the doot hoping she would knock it off of its hinges and get inside.

Rose’s dreams lead to the same end that they had had for months. She would be walking through a forest, one so foreign yet she felt as though she had known it forever. Then, she would feel the presence of the wolf. It was large, too large to be a real one. It was everything she could do not to run in fear. She ran and ran until she came up to the school. Being in too much of a dizzying trance, she would run in and lock the entrances gates behind her. The young shapeshifter would collapse to the ground, tears blurring her eyes, and the last thing she always saw was the shadowy image of her father, Conrad.
Rose Lynne woke up, tears staining her cheeks. The dream wasn’t all that frightening, yet it somehow always made her cry. For what reason, she would never know. Ches and Alice were still curled up in slumber at the edge of her bed. Her roommate seemed to still be sleeping, it was early, anyways. But she always went to school just a tad bit earlier than the rest. She hated Conrad yet she loved him like any other daughter would. She felt a shifter like loyalty to him as well.
Yawning, she took a short shower, dried her hair, brushed it, and got dressed. Her outfit of the day was a Mad Hatter themed tight fitting t-shirt with non-other than the Johnny Depp version of the character smiling back at her in the mirror. Her shorts were made of black denim and she wore a pair of black female boots. After applying a minimal amount of make-up, the girl grabbed her bag and headed out quietly. She was at the school in no time at all.
"Are you kidding me? God damn it!"
Rose heard the words and then that bang, so she decided to investigate. It was the English teacher. Chase was her name, if her memory was correct. Rose disliked the teacher with a strong passion, yet they had never met. The student had heard of all the things Chase had down and said to her father. That was one thing she didn’t like very much, but she had to be polite, or at least civil. Walking up to the teacher, she looked at her and then the door. ”Ya fergot yer keys, Ah’m guessin’?” It was more of a statement, though. ”Ah’ve done a bit o’ lock pickin’ in mah life. Ya want me ta help?” The southern girl was just offering the bit of help she had to. To her, it didn’t matter. ’Maybe Ah’ll take ‘er class over tha summah. Ah’ll be able ta get back at her that way, ‘least,’ she thought. She kept it to herself, though.

Chase jumped at the sound of someone saying that she forgot her keys. "Woaa, ther. Scared the crap out of me," She said and shook her head. "And yeah. Was in such a rush this morning..forgot to grab my keys." Chase added, and rolled her eyes in annoyance at herself. She practically set herself up for this.
”Ah’ve done a bit o’ lock pickin’ in mah life. Ya want me ta help?” Chase had to think about this for a moment, she wasn't sure if she could actually get in herself, so why not? "Yeah, that'd be great," She answered her and backed away from the door slightly, to give the girl some room. Chase stared down at the ground, she was a little nicer to this girl than she was to others who have tried helping her in the past. Probably because it was the morning, and her brain was still a little fried.

Rose stared at the teacher, a little bit shocked. Did she really... That didn't seem right, not to the little shapeshifter. The teach with the meanest rep was acting too kind to be that bad. "Is it really that early?' she whispered, not realizing that she whispered aloud.
After a minute of thought she shrugged her shoulders and smiled. "Alrighty, den miss." Rose knelt down in front of the door and fiddled with her hair for a moment before producing a hair pin. The blonde looked over her shoulder to look at the teacher one more time before focusing on the door and using the hair pin to pick the lock.
She twisted it lightly, turning it a bit, but ultimately, she kept her ears open. Rose could hear the tumblers inside moving and setting up in place.
Finally, she heard a click and gave a satisfying grin. The girl stood up and put the pin back in her hair before twisting the knob. To her delight it turned and the door opened. "Well then, that should be good enough fer ya, ma'am," she said before walking into the classroom herself. Sitting on the top edge of one of the desks in the front row, she gave the teacher a coy smile. "Now, I don' wanna seem rude, but ah would like ta talk wit' ya. Just for a lil' bit."
Rose tilted her head lightly to the side. "By the way, mah name is Rose. Rose Lynne Tyler."

Chase let out a huge sigh a relief. Thank god for this little lock-picking student with an incredibly annoying accent. "Yes, thanks so much," She said and walked into the room, but was somewhat confused because that girl was in the room too.
Its not like she had any real reason to be in the classroom, Chase had to get all set up for class and stuff, she couldn't have some student bothering her.
"Now, I don' wanna seem rude, but ah would like ta talk wit' ya. Just for a lil' bit."
"Uhhhh." Chase thought about it, this girl did help her, she might as well indulge in some innocent conversation. "Fine. But make it quick." She answered, slightly annoyed.
"By the way, mah name is Rose. Rose Lynne Tyler."
"Oookay...I'm Chase Pennington," She answered, as she reached for her planner which had her lesson ideas for the day in it. "What is it that you would like to talk about?" Chase questioned her, cocking an eyebrow.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Now it was time to be serious, no more fun and games, no matter how much she fun she wanted to have. At the moment, she was in a classroom with who was considered the rudest teach in SHS. Rose even heard that she didn't even like children! But then again, that might just be a rumor.
No longer in the mood to speak nicely, she rolled her eyes. "Ah know who ya are, Miss Pennington. People point you out all tha time," she said. "Now, what do ah wanna talk 'bout? Ah kinda don't know why you wouldn't know, guess mah daddy hasn't talked much 'bout me. Ah wanna talk 'bout Conrad," Rose said, her voice starting to get an icy-ish tone.
"Now, ah don' like mah daddy much, but no one is gonna treat 'im the way ah hear you do. And jus' 'cause ah'm a student don' mean ah'mma let it slide." Her voice was a bit cold, a bit harsh. She didn't really understand why she was so mad all of a sudden. She didn't know here dad that much, she didn't really like him, so why did she feel this obligation? This obligation to try and help him? She brushed it off as a shifter thing, or maybe even a kin thing. But either way, it was going to stop, whether or not she ended up kicked out of the school.

Chase blinked a few times. People pointed her out? She guessed she was more hated than she thought, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing. She leaned casually against her desk and shoved her hands in her pockets as she listened to Rose speak. Once she had heard that her father was Conrad, she felt overcome with rage. "Now, why would you want to talk about an idiot like him?" Chase growled, her ability to put up with Rose's father had grown weak and she hated talking about him.
From what Rose had proceeded to say next, Chase figured that she might have been somewhat insane. If she didn't like her father, why did she care how someone else treated him? She could feel her face get warm, her check might have been getting red, she didn't know. All she did know was that she was pissed off at this student for bringing up Conrad.
She decided to speak her mind, rather than bottle it all up inside. "So, you don't like your father..and yet you don't like people treating him badly?" Chase asked her, a crazed look in her eye. "If only you knew what he did to me, how he tried to kill me." She growled, and moved over towards her chair and sat down in it.

Rose glowered at the teacher. ”Neveh call mah dad an idiot! He’s a lot smarter than’e looks, Chase.” She said the teachers name with emphasis and disgust. She didn’t understand this at all. Rose had been such a good girl till she came to this school. But something about the school turned her into a rebel. But she had to not think of that at this moment. This isn’t what she came here for.
A small growl was forming in the back of her throat. It was dark and inhuman, one only a true shifter could make, one that distinguished the girl from most others. ”Well, if you didn’t like some’ne that was blood yet you heard some’ne was treatin’em without respect, you probably would do tha same. Then again, yer manners from what I heard probably wouldn’t ‘low you ta do such a thing,” she growled. ”Where Ah come from, you always stick up fer yer kin, no mattah how much you dislike’em.”
Though she still glared at her, something caught her off guard. Wait, did she just say that he had tried to kill her? ”B.S. Mah daddy wouldn’t be able ta try an’ kill some’ne. He can barely stand around mah kittens… Hell, ah bet he couldn’t even hurt a fly and ah doubt he even hunts like most shifters,” she scoffed.

Chase dropped her books on top of her desk and held her head in her hands all in one swift motion. She wasn't doing this. Not now. She wasn't going to let this student piss her off, over some guy that was an asshole.
"I don't think you understand, Rose." She said, massaging her temples. "You don't even know, he tried to sink his fangs into me. He sent an email to the guy I liked, and tol him lies about me." It pained Chase to even be bringing these instances up, but it was for the girls own good that she know what he has done.
Chase stood up ou tof her chair and walked over towards Rose, stopping a couple of feet in front of her. "I know that I have a reputation for being a bitch, but ever since the day I started here, your has tortured me." She put both her hands into her pant pockets. "So, just think about that. I know your father's not an idiot, but he is a major pain in my ass. And I don't even know why he does these things to me!"
