There were once two universes, coexisting without knowledge of one another. Both had their heroes, both had their villains. However, they were accidentally linked once by cosmic events. A mysterious being, whose existence was previously unknown, appeared, calling himself The FarAwayMan. At first he used his reality-altering abilities for good. As time wore on, though, something began to come over him. Some form of madness. He began to rampage throughout both universes, destroying things as he went and making life a living hell. Great mystics from both universes decided that they needed to end his existence or risk that fate themselves.
As both universes took action, they discovered two things. The first was that their power alone would not be enough to stop the FarAwayMan, and second, the existence of each other. Under dire stress, their universes disappearing before their eyes, they created a refuge, a new universe with elements of each, and populated it with their champions. Together, their combined might finally destroyed the FarAwayMan, but their seperate universes were beyond repair. For this reason, they finished merging them together, with the refuge, and created a singular universe, one with peoples from both, places from both, and times from both. Although history class may get a bit confusing, the well-being of this new universe is assured.
