The Solstice of Celestia. An even so rare that it only happens once every three thousand years. During this time it is said that those who have mastered the art of Magic and Sorcery are able to travel between realms, dimensions, and universes freely without fear of a ‘Crisis.’ Only a few among all the universes know the opportunity that comes with the rare event.
It is during this Solstice that both Doctor Fate and Doctor Strange cast a spell known as The Celestial Incantatem. Neither one of them could have predicted that by casting these spells are same time would have caused rift so large that it would forever change the very essence of space, time, and reality. When the Sorcerers cast their spell and ventured into each others realm, it caused a merger effect that brought Fate and Strange’s world together.
In the matter of seconds everything had changed. The worlds had merged and cities and countries that didn’t exist before suddenly came into existence, but that wasn’t the only huge change. An unexpected side effect was that nobody seemed to notice the merger with the exception of a few unique individuals. Those who had only existed in one world remembered their realm before the merger while those who had existed in both realms noticed no change in the world and carried on with their lives.
Not understanding what is going on, the Justice League and the Avengers do what they can to not only find out what has caused the merger, but to try and reverse it as well. What neither groups knows is that it is too late for them to undo the merger that was caused by the two power Sorcerers and that their Fates and Destinies are now forever changed.
