WHEN I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO YOU ARE.

SO KIDDO, WHATS YOUR NAME?
Name's Cassandra Cain, not sure if I like it to be honest. I just don't like the C.C. initials. Oh well, its kind of stuck with me.
GOT ANY NICKNAMES?
I prefer to be called Cassie. Just simple and easy. Cassandra is such a mouth full. So yes, please call me Cassie, even Cas is pleasing. Just not Cassandra.
THANKS. JUST HOW OLD ARE YOU?
Eighteen, I'm an adult now!
JUST TO MAKE SURE – MALE OR FEMALE?
I'm a dollie, can't you tell?
EXCELLENT. WHAT WAY DO YOU SWING?
I swing one way, and only one way. I'm heterosexual. Girls are pretty, but I just can't see it being that way. I prefer my men, rugged with sexy backs. You can't beat that.
WAIT A MINUTE – YOU LOOK FAMILIAR. HAVE I SEEN YOU BEFORE?
Zooey Deschanel, I guess I'll take it. She's pretty, a little strange looking though.

AS WE MAKE OUR GREAT ESCAPE.

I HEAR YOU'RE STILL IN SCHOOL. WHAT SCHOOL DO YOU ATTEND?
South High School of course, not many other schools around.
SURE, SURE. AND WHAT GRADE ARE YOU IN?
I'm a Big Bad Senior! So, that would be grade twelve, a' duh.
UH HUH. YOU LIKE IT THERE?
It could be better, it could be worse. I won't lie, part of me actually likes the school. Some of the classes and teachers are actually enjoyable.

NOTHING ABOUT YOU IS TYPICAL ,
NOTHING ABOUT YOU IS PREDICTABLE.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
JUST WONDERING – IS THIS HOW YOUR HAIR LOOKS LIKE MOST OF THE TIME?
My hair is this natural woodsy brown color, yes I refer to it as woodsy. It's pretty straight most of the time. I usually just throw my hair up in a pony and call it good.
THEY SAY THE EYES ARE THE WINDOWS TO THE SOUL. TELL ME ABOUT YOURS.
My eyes are grayish blue, I think they're actually kind of pretty. Large, I think thats a pretty good way to describe my eyes. They're open to the world.
AH. SO WHAT WOULD YOU CONSIDER YOUR BODY BUILD TO BE?
I'm a bean pole. I'm pretty skinny, my friends love to joke around about it. I've got muscle, you just can't see them.
GREAT. HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONAL STYLE?I'm a pretty simple girl. Jeans, a t-shirt, and a hoodie usually work the best for me. Comfy and practicle. I usually have a pair of vans to throw on. Though I wear converse when I'm in large crowds, that way they don't come off.
I SEE. ANY DISTINGUISHING FEATURES?
I have the japanese symbol for freedom on my lower left calf. Thats my only tattoo at the moment. Trust me, I'll probably get more.
WHAT, IN YOUR OPINION, WOULD PEOPLE THINK OF YOU AT FIRST SIGHT?
Probably pretty hardcore, and not in the party sense. I'm a pretty quiet girl, so I'm usually observing people, instead of like attacking them with socialness. Otherwise, I can't really think of how people would view me. I'm pretty quiet, so I'm not sure if I get noticed much.

I'M THE PRESS CONFERENCE ,
YOU'RE A CONVERSATION.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
YOU'RE DOING GREAT. NOW TELL ME ABOUT THE THINGS THAT YOU LIKE.
+ Martial Arts - That is what my father trained me in. Trust me, I don't think many people could even put up a good fight with me.
+ Writing - I tend to trip over my words a lot. So, when I write, I don't need to fear tripping over my words. My fingers do all the gracefull talking for me.
+ Psychology and Sociology - I love knowing how people work. What they think, and why they think that.
+ Rain - I think its just kind of peacefull and chill. It smells wonderful, fun to play in, or just watch.
+ Concerts - I love music, but more than that. I love how people act and unite together through music. Music is pretty powerfull. That sounds so cheesy...
MHM. WHAT ABOUT THE THINGS THAT YOU DON'T LIKE?
- Public Speaking - Can we say awefull? I can barely talk to people casually. Public speaking is such a nightmare. Everyone just stares up at you, whether they are listening or not.
- Cold weather - I am very happy to be outside, just relaxing on the beach. Winter restricts everything! It's just so cold, all you can do is stay inside and drink hot chocolate.
- Pressure - Its hard to explain. Basically though, I don't appreciate the stress my parents put on me. They expect me to be perfect at everything, and would prefer me to focus on important things. Not silly little things I may actually enjoy, like my friends and having a good time.
- Not having anything to do. I usually keep myself pretty busy. Either with work or friends. As long as I'm not just sitting around wasting life away.
- Alcohol -In moderation, I can understand. I can't understand idiots who get drunk though. I'm not a fan of really anything along those lines, I'm straightedge. Though drugs and cigs, alright I can stand that. Alcohol though, its the worse.
GREAT. NOW TELL ME WHAT YOU'RE GOOD AT.* Martial arts, like I said, I've been doing it since birth. I don't know anyone else that can kick as strong and as high as I can. I'm not a girl to mess with. I don't need little powers to fight, I've got talent.
* Body language, I'm amazing at reading body language. Something else I can thank my father for. He was pretty strict, I never talked unless he said I could. He really taught me to predict people in the slightest reactions.
NOW YOUR WEAKNESSES. I APOLOGIZE FOR THIS BEING SO LONG.
* Well, like I've said multiple times, I don't like talking to strangers. I'm a horrible leader. Honestly, I don't think I could lead a horse to water.
* Alright, so remember when I said I had muscles? That may have been a lie. I've got good abs, very well defined body, just not really any muscle. I can barely lift my own weight. I'm not strong, and surely not proud of it. I'm too embarassed to go to a weight room though.
YEAH..DO YOU HAVE ANY GOALS THAT YOU WISH TO ACCOMPLISH?
Get the hell out of Gotham city? To be honest, I really don't know what I want. I guess I just want to be happy and content. Live out my life and die, sounds pretty basic. I just want to say life was good when its all over.
MMM..WHAT ARE YOU AFRAID OF?
= Deathly afraid of being buried alive. I would prefer to burn than be buried. I won't go in a hole alone. Caves I'm fine with, holes not so fine with. Like empty graves, they have got to be the scariest thing ever.
= Secretely, I'm afraid to screw up. What if I had to go and save someone or something, but I ended up killing them on accident? I would turn into a villian, on accident! That would be insane. I don't think I could live with myself.
HAVE ANY HABITS OR QUIRKS? DON'T WORRY, I HAVE TOO.
I run my hand through my hair a lot. Especially when cute boys are around. Then during class when I get super bored, I pick at dead ends. Its the worst habit ever, and I feel extremely stupid when I realise people are watching. Oh, then when I'm thinking about something, I tend to chew on my lower lip. Usually, its when I don't know something, but I really don't want to look like a fool for admitting I don't know it.
EVERYONE HAS DEEP DARK SECRETS, RIGHT? YOURS? DON'T WORRY, I WON'T TELL A SOUL.
Haha, outside of school I'm pretty different. In school, everyone sees me as just another teenager. Outside of school, I've got a good group of friends. We party, no I don't do drugs. I do other stupid stuff. There isn't a stunt I won't say no to and there aren't many boys I can't get. Thats the good thing about body language, its easy to understand people pretty quickly. Like I said though, no one in the school really knows this side of me. I like it to keep it that way.
COULD YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN ONE WORD?
Not likely.
TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF, OVERALL.
Alright I'm probably one of the most hard working girls you have met. I was taught long ago, until you can be considered an expert you have to keep working. Sleep is useless if you're worthless. You call it harsh, I call that my father's love. If you want anything in life, you'll have to work at it. I'm pretty strong willed, once I set my mind to something, I will acheive it. During school, I walk around like a badass. I don't try to, it just comes naturally. When I first start talking to people, I trip over my word... a lot. I still do that around my friends. So, I absolutely hate talking. Isn't there a saying that talk is cheap? I think so. I'm pretty smart, not the most clever girl. I won't lie, no point in it. I would rather be honest, even if it means I'm a bitch.

I WANNA SEE HOW YOU LOSE CONTROL.

DO YOU HAVE ANY SIBLINGS?
Only child.
LOVELY. MANY PEOPLE HAVE PETS – DO YOU?
Nope, after high school I plan on getting a dog I think. Probably a big one, like a doberman or saint bernard.
FASCINATING. I HOPE YOU DON'T MIND MY ASKING, BUT WHAT'S YOUR BACKGROUND?
Very German, and I actually have a bit of Japanese in me. That's so far back though, you can't even tell when you look at me. Maybe thats why I'm so good at martial arts?
WELL, ALMOST DONE. BUT WHERE DO YOU LIVE APART FROM HERE?
Just some suburb out of Gotham city. So I really didn't have to travel far for school.
DO, TELL ME ABOUT YOUR PAST. DON'T WORRY, THIS IS THE LAST THING THAT I WILL BE ASKING.
I was born during the night, I find it rather suiting. My mother was around, but I won't lie. She wasn't really in my life much. She was more there to support my father. I do remember waking up some morning, being sore from practice. She always had a hot mug of hot cocoa for me and some cut up fruit. I never really understood her. I guess thats because I rarely saw her. She was home a lot, I just was normally busy in my room or with my dad. She was mute, so I learned to sign pretty early. Though, I never had to use it much. I learned early on to understand body language and facial expressions. My mother and I could look at each other and know what was going through each other's minds.
My father and I, what an interesting relationship. I wasn't taught to talk when I was young. Basically, our communication was hitting eachother and head nods. I spent about the first ten years of my life on a very strict life style. I don't know if you could even really call it a life. My father would train me, later on during the evening would be sparring with eachother. I can honestly say I have never had any other memories of my father.
Alright, so I should probably fill you in on the last couple of years. Lets just say thank god for school. It surely got me out of the house. Also, a bit out of my shell. I've got a couple of goods friends in the school and out of the school. I can't say my history has been to thrilling in the past years. Its a lot more fun, but I wouldn't say thrilling to other people. I go out all the time at night. There is no such thing as curfew to me. I like to go out and have fun. Nothing matters at night. I feel so much more free. I don't have to worry about anything.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME.
No problem, I had a few minutes to waste.

Ivy looked down as Benjamin squeezed her hand. She felt uneasy. She shifted in her seat uncomfortably. What was he trying to tell her? Ivy tried to hide her discomfort for a moment. Praying he didn’t know anything about her father. Yet, how Benjamin was acting could easily prove her prayer wrong. Ivy smirked, Benjamin was always so smooth. Ivy doubt he ever really realized it. Benjamin was quite the charmer. He could sweep and woman off her feet with in minutes. Ivy could feel Benjamin’s gentle fingers stroking her own. She gently squeezed his own hand, without much of a thought really. It was much more of an odd reflex. She hated the feeling of his eyes on her, when everything was silent. She felt uneasy reacting with silence. It was harder to understand what others were thinking during silence.Ivy looked up to the waitress as Benjamin began to talk. She politely nodded as a cup of tea was set in front of her. Looking back to Benjamin, she responded far too quickly. “What could make a shadow that high up though?” Ivy asked, hoping for an answer. She had thought many hours about it, waiting for sleep to come. Ivy was a rather restless sleeper, and her most odd or profound thoughts came at night. Ivy shook her head hearing Benjamin change his suggestion from one to another. “Oh no Benjamin, you know, I much rather prefer your first idea.” Ivy spoke with a coy grin.
“You know, I really do think we should do that. Just tell your parents you are off to go and do something with someone.” Ivy suggested. She took a small sip from her tea. The tea was plain, bland, and never changing. It was good, the best tea in the area. Yet, it was never really different or surprising. That was life here in London. “I think that’s a brilliant idea. Let’s meet at eleven. Just right outside the tower.” Ivy continued to encourage him. Oh, if she could actually convince him. That would simply be delightful. Ivy rubbed the back of her neck.
“Wouldn’t it be a treat though?” Ivy began to present her next fantasy. “Think of it. If that child was able to reach the clock, so could we. Wouldn’t that be a brilliant adventure?” Ivy smiled warmly, lifting the cup up to her face. Her hands held it in front of her, but she didn’t take a sip yet. Her eyes were dreamy, just imagining the possibilities. She always loved attempting to drag Benjamin into silly little adventures. Convince him to think unconventionally. He helped her stay grounded for sure. Without a doubt, Ivy would be in far more trouble if she hadn’t ran into him.
