Kazza was alone, save for Arrow and Hymn, whom would hardly count as company in another's eyes. To her, however, they were family. The Siberian Husky, with his alert, playful spirit eyes and coarse bristle coat, was someone that she couldn't live without. He was as much a part of her as her arms, or legs. Then there was Hymn, the pigeon that she had rescued from some mutt. Only new to the group, but already close to the teenager. Someone, she didn't bother remembering who, had told her that she had a big heart. One far too big for the position she was in, would be in for the rest of her life. Afterall, she couldn't easily change what she was.
That, however, was not really on her mind at that moment. A niggling feeling, however, was. She was sure she was forgetting something... Ah well, it probably wasn't important. What was important was that the park was practically empty, Hymn and Arrow were hurtling by in a race, one confined to the ground and the other swooping through the air, but neither caring much, and that she wasn't being annoyed by anyone. Come to think of it, where were all the kids? Surely, there should be some here? Then, the Australian remembered the forgotten piece of information. She was supposed to be at school. She'd gotten one thing right, though; it sure wasn't important. Not to her, anyway...
