Her cat, Shadow, was curled up next to her and her wolf hybrid, Chaos, seemed to be sitting in the shadows of a tree just watching her.
The soft purr of her cat suddenly stopped as they heard a noise in the forest. It sort of sounded like the sound of running, but she couldn't really tell. Vi opened her eyes and sat up. "Who's there?" she called. Someone was out there, she could feel it.
