The girl felt complete. Finally, she was in her most familiar skin, the one becoming more known around Gotham. The one that has no name anyone knows of yet. Her favorite one. The girl glanced in the mirror, making sure her outfit was perfect. Tight fitting, black leather pants and a black, v-neck crop top clung snug to her body. Her hands were perfectly covered with black elbow length gloves. Her feet were adorned with black female biker boots, though the boots were not at all what they may seem. There was a hidden button she just had to tap on the sides to reveal two hidden blades, one on each side. Around her neck was a rose patterned choker, the same color as all the rest of her outfit. Running her hand through her hair, she changed it's color to be a midnight black. A subtle blink of her eyes changed them to be a dazzling crimson red. She pulled her hair up into a ponytail, using a black scrunchie.
Rikku smiled and put her hands on her hips as she looked at her reflection. It was almost complete. All she needed now was her mask and her belt. Walking into the closet, she looked around. Now where had she put it. Digging around for a moment, she found her black and silver belt, a specialty pouch clung to it. The pouch was to hold her 'signature' and make sure that they do not get damaged during the night. The last she found was her mask. It was a black half mask that covered around her eyes and her cheek bones. Honestly, it was just for effect. It, like almost everything else, had an intricate rose design on it. It clung to her face and would not be able to be removed with out a good force behind it.
She was about to leave when she realized that she had forgotten something, well things. One, she needed to actually put the roses into the pouch. And she had forgotten to put her duel daggers into her sheathes. And her grappling hook.
Rikaeyu was about to climb out the window when she heard a small meow. "Yes Selene?" she asked her kitten. 'Will you need my help today, momma?' Rikku chuckled. "I guess." The cat happily jumped onto its owners shoulder.
The young cat burglar soon was perched on top of a high topped building in the middle of Gotham. Selene was clung to her shoulder tightly. The rose themed thief contemplated where she should try first. "What shall I do?"

School was satisfying her hunger for knowledge and it comforted her knowing that there were people with powers like she’d been born with, it made her feel so much less alone and she treasured that small bond she had with all her peers, destined to be heroes or not. But that strand of similarity was not nearly enough for her to ignore when any of her peers were doing wrong, she had no tolerance for criminals whatsoever.
Raven had caught word of two fellow students earlier in the day planning a robbery, and she, in turn, planned to prevent them. Of course, it was hard for her to keep an eye on them if neither of them had been in any more of her classes and she didn’t want to strain herself by keeping tabs on them mentally, not while she had to focus on her schoolwork. This was exactly why she was so relieved when it was finally over and she could put all her attention onto the two robbers. It took a while for her to locate them; having shown up just as they ran off with gems at hand from the nearby jewelry store, but she figured it was better late than never.
When she revealed herself before them, garbed in a black hooded robe connected to a black Azarathian robe (similar to that of an ancient priestess’ robes) decorated with a belt of dark red chakra gems to match the glowing one upon her forehead and black boots that stopped just above her knees, they stared at her and an expression similar to that of one who sees a ghost found its way onto their faces. “Those do not belong to you,” she said in a calm voice as her feet lifted off from the ground so that her body would hover in midair, “return them.” The two thieves, both young men around her own age, glanced at their bulking bag then to one another as if contemplating her request. Raven listen her hands up from her sides and a dark aura formed around them warningly, she repeated herself in a much more assertive tone, “Return them immediately.”
The thieves looked up at her and a grin formed on the shortest ones face as he reached into his bag and pulled out a gun. He fired twice and she easily evaded the bullets but putting up a telekinetic shield, meanwhile throwing his gun from his hand with her mind. Little did she know, at that moment, the two thieves were not alone... A third shot fired off behind her and she just barely missed it by hovering away, rather than the bullet embedding in her back, it grazed her shoulder and left a trail of blood and ripped fabric. She winced and let out the smallest of pained groans before lifting a garbage can from the alley with her mind and tossing it in her defense. She was now surrounded and the two thieves seemed rather pleased at that fact, considering they then boasted, “I bet you can’t take us all on!” Well, she would sure try!
The garbage can knocked over three of the men behind her and she was again holding up her telekinetic shield as more bullets flew at her, all the while trying to think of her next course of action, which ended up being blasting them with beams of her dark powers.

Rikku's red eyes scanned over the city, wondering where she should attack first still. "What do you think, Selene?" she asked. 'How about the bank?' the cat suggested. The shape shifter shook her head. "No, too much security." 'How about the jewelry store?' Rikku thought about that for a moment and then shook her head. She had remembered over hearing a couple of stupid peers of hers about their plan to rob the place. "Too crowded tonight, Selene love." The two creatures thought for a second.
Their eyes seemed to light up at the same time. 'The art museum!"[/i] the two said at the same time. A smile formed on the thief's lips while the white feline purred. That was the best idea the two would have. There was a precious rare diamonds exhibit in the museum too. Oh that would be perfect. Letting out a sharp whistle, she looked to the skies. A raven came flying towards them. 'Yes my master?' the raven cawed. Rikku smiled. "Stay close, Edgar, your assistance may be needed later," she said simply. The bird looked as though it nodded and flew up towards the clouds, circling above them.
Slinking across the rooftops, she heard a loud banging and voices. That didn't sound good. And they were near the jewelry store too. "What should i do, Selene? Go to the museum or help my stupid peers?" 'Help them first, momma. It might be fun!' Selene purred. Sighing, Rikku jumped from the roof top and landed silently and skillfully on the ground below. All she saw was what looked like three of her male peers from school attacking a levitating girl. A sly smile was placed upon her lips as she hid behind the trash dumpster. Or at least she tried to before it was 'thrown' at the men.
She looked up and sent a feeble thought to Edgar. 'Edgar sweetie. Mommy needs you to go into that store and check it out for me, 'kay?'[/i] She found another dumpster and hid behind it as best she could as the bird flew into the store.

It didn’t take long for the men to finally give up and move to take of, but Raven pulled at her two peers, the dark aura of her powers taking hold of them, to stop them in their tracks. “The gems,” she reminded them sternly as her feet touched the ground softly. The two looked at one another in a panic, breathing heavily and wriggling as an attempt to get free before tossing a small pile of jewelry at her feet. Raven narrowed her eyes from within her dark hood and paused before tossing the two culprits into a dumpster and shutting the lid closed. As the remaining fled, Raven bent down to pick up the pieces of gold and gems, brushing the dirt off of them calmly.
As she did so, a sort of alarm went of in the back of her mind and she looked up to barely see black wings flutter passed her way. An eyebrow arched curiously and she called out to the shadows, “Who’s there?” She paused a moment then looked over at the dumpster in which she’d imprisoned the two boys momentarily, sweeping it out of the way and to the left with the wave of her hand. “Show yourself,” she called out again, her voice still calm but assertive. Raven moved over to the now vacant spot, her eyebrow raising once more as she turned else where for that person’s hiding spot. “If you’re another thief,” she started as she brought her hands up, her aura forming around them once more, “you should realize you’ll be leaving empty handed.”
Her dark eyes gazed around as she stood perfectly still. She could hear the two men in the dumpster, finally having recovered from the blows they received being throw inside, banging against the sides and yelling, “Let us out!” But Raven ignored that; they were no concern of hers anymore, at least not at that moment. She was more concerned with the person hiding and wither or not they were a threat to her.
Raven seriously hoped that, whoever it was, they didn’t enjoy playing games. She really hated it when they tried to provoke her by taunting and taking their time. She had other things to do; she didn’t want to waste her time just for someone’s amusement.
As she stood, she pondered. Perhaps she was just being paranoid; maybe it was just a bird and nothing more. After all, birds really weren’t threatening or signs of criminals about, they were just birds. But that little alarm in the back of her mind told her otherwise, someone was there watching her.
