Chase sank into her chair, it was so boring so far. Well, the meeting actually hadn't started yet, but it was still pretty boring. Most of the teachers were just socializing or just sitting there, like Chase. She didn't want to talk to any ofteeople, the weirdos who taught at South High. Half of them she hated, and the other half she just didn't know. Except for a key few that she can actually stand. But she didn't see him there yet.
So she sat there, at an empty table in the library, thinking about what they were even going to talk about. To be honest, Chase had no idea. She just got an email saying Staff Meeting and she marked it on her calendar. Yes marked stuff on her calendar, its the only way she can remember certain things, such as staff meetings.
Chase checked her phone quickly, she didn't know why, she just wanted to see if she had any new messages. Not that she was waiting for one or anything. She pocketed the phone and sighed. The meeting was supposed to drag on for the entire day, and there was a limit on how much boringness she could take. And sitting still for a long period of time isn't exactly the best thing for Chase. Hopefully someone will come along she could talk to so she won't die of boredome.

Well this was going to be fun. Yeah, it was going to be a long day, but that is just expected from a teacher meeting. What she was really excited about was the fact that they were gonna let the jack outta the box. Figuratively speaking of course.
Her hand twitched a tad, wanting to grab for Jack's. They were walking to the meeting together, but she didn't want to make it obvious. What would be the fun if everyone figured it out just like that. She wanted it to be a surprise. She hoped the Joker did too.
Harleen bit her lip lightly as she walked into the library. It did seem like it would be the best place to hold a function like this. She had thought that they would be late, but it seemed that everyone here was just chatting away.
"So much fer fashionably late, Puddin'," She said to the Joker, taking an empty seat at the table.
She smiled up at Chase. She knew most of the teachers here, but this lady looked like a new face. At least to her. Maybe she didn't know all the teachers after all. "Hi there," Harley said, trying to spark up some sort of conversation.

[purple]"Ah-heh-heh-heh-heh-heh... A whoo- a hee- hahahahahaha!"[/purple]
A disturbing voice echoed down the hallway as a man with spring in his step decided to reveal his true face. Everyone knew about Dent. And like Dent, Jack was safe in two places. His apartment and South. Not that safety really mattered to Jack. He was The Joker! He had his standard ratty purple suit... his gloves, makeup and callous stringy hair. He took a seat next to his lady. Set the shotgun he had in his hand near the desk.
[purple]"Hehehehehe Oh DO EXCUSE ME. I was just doing my makeup."[/purple]
He grabbed a mirror he stole from someone out of his pocket and looked at it. Handsome devil. He looked at Chase. Now she knew WHAT he was. Along with knowing WHO he was. Turning to his dear old Harley Quinn he grinned.
[purple]"Do I look pretty?"[/purple]

Chase was about to open her mouth, to answer Harleen, until she saw him. She sat there, staring at him for a few moments. So, Jack was the Joker. And he had a gun. Chase was extremely uncomfortable sitting there at that table, mostly because the Joker was sitting there, and he had a gun. She sat their, mesmerized by his creepy make-up and those scars. Chase was trying to come up with an excuse to get her out of there, so she went with the most commonly used one in the book. "I have to go the bathroom..." She said and left her seat.
Chase didn't know where she would go. While she was trying to figure out where to sit, she accidently bumped into someone. Instead of saying a rude comment, she was too afraid too. "I'm sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going," She said, and walked past. Chase didn;t even look at who it was, and she didn't really care. All she wanted to do was get away from the Joker and Harleen.

Harvey had snuck in the library at a different entrance. He saw the Joker coming, and was trying to avoid him. Working together and hanging out together were two completely different things. The Joker was insane, and so was his girlfriend, he didn't want any of that insane to rub off on him, as it did before. Harvey felt a small bump against him and turned to see who it was. It was Chase Pennington, he had heard things about her, mostly that she was a huge bitch. She seemed extremely scared, he turned to see where she was coming from. And it was the Joker's table. Go figure.
"Its all right, I was in the way." Harvey said over his shoulder as she passed him. He glared at the Joker from across the room, he didn't know if he saw him or not. Dent then moved behind a crowd of teachers, trying to blend in. He didn't want any attention drawn towards him at this meeting. Harvey sat down in a small chair that was pushed against the wall and rested his head on one of his hands, examining his surroundings.

The endless corridors in South High seemed to bug Conrad. Maybe it wasn't actually the corridors but rather the fact that he was lost, he seemed to have gone past a few places at lest five times. He'd just finished a few bits of paper work and then decided he'd go to this staff meeting. First thing he decided was that it would be best just to turn up in his human form, it might be a bit weird seeing a wolf walking around the school, it might even scare a few people. That decision now seemed like the worst one ever. Stopping Con sighed and looked up at the nearest sign, he'd managed to walk in a complete circle and was now back where he started. Fun.
Taking a quick look around and seeing no one in the area Con clenched his fists and made the painful change into his wolf form. It never got any easier or less painful even after years of experience, in fact it seemed to make him weak every time he made a change, but that wore off after a few minutes. Shaking his long, brown, scruffy fur Con raised his head and sniffed the air; one good thing about being a wolf was the heightened sense of smell, all he had to do was lock onto one scent and he could pretty much track the person providing they stayed in a specific area. The only teacher he'd ever seen around the school was Chase Pennington, that was one occasion and she probably hadn't noticed him, there was no doubt that she'd be at the meeting. Although for some reason he couldn't find her scent, quite strange really.
Giving up Con darted around the school trying to avoid all people and obstacles that got in his way, he could only imagine what was going through their heads after a wolf had just passed them, in fact if he could've laughed then he'd have been in stitches by now. Stopping in front of a doorway, Con sniffed the air again. Nothing. How was he supposed to get to this meeting on time if no one was going to help, he just needed one scent which he could hang onto.

Harley licked her lips playfully. "I think pretty's too vague a word, Puddin'," she said with a smile. She looked back over at Chase, who looked rather uncomfortable. And when she said that she had to use the bathroom, she knew what was up. The moment the teacher left, Harley scowled. "Look what ya did now, Mistah J! Ya scared tha poor lady."
She rolled her eyes and went to follow. Granted, the lady probably didn't want to even see her, seeing as which Harleen was with the Joker. All she had wanted was to say hi, ask her some questions, just talk. Course that couldn't happen.
As she tried to follow the poor teacher, she tripped, tumbling over an animal. Falling to the ground, she rubbed her head. "Ouchie," she mumbled. She was happy to know that she didn't land on the animal at all. It was dashing around, seemingly confused or lost. "Hey there, ya little cutie. What're you doin' in the school?" She called after it, hoping it would stop.

Jack looked to his left then right to the teachers that came in... And left. Chase left as soon as he walked in. Why? Why can't she see the funny like him? There are some unfortunates out there who strive to carry on their pathetic existence without laughing at all. How in the world could they survive that? He saw Chase get up, bump into Dent, Harley leave the room to go after her and all of which started by the Joker.... Where did he see that before? He acted surprised.
[purple]"Well take your time people. It's not like we have lives."[/purple]
He didn't even notice Dent glaring at him while he pulled out a Nintendo DS he confiscated from a kid. It had Kingdom Hearts in it.
[purple]"Hehehehe..."[/purple]
He was playing for five minutes. It was a game he played before. Not on the DS. But a PS2 when he was struggling to gain muse for his plots. Disney characters were more then inspirational... He liked Goofy best. He began grunting and making struggling noises, moving his DS from side to side as his fingers nervously mashed the DS buttons. When he finally lost, he screamed, tossed the DS in the air, shotgun in hand and shot it to bits over the desk they were sitting at. People all jumped. His eyes glared at all of them. Then he calmly sat the shotgun back down.
[purple]"Eh... It was a kiddy game anyways..."[/purple]
