Chase sat at the main desk in the school computer lab. She had been able to book the lab for a whole week, in order for her students to do their assignement. Their assignement is to create a seven page play, about a specific event in history.. The students were allowed to work in pairs, or by themselves. Chase hadn't exactly figured out when it would be due, but was leaning towards the week after. While the students were working, she wasn't just observing, she was grading papers, making up lesson plans, and whatever else a teacher was supposed to do.
Chase didn't think being a teacher would be so much work, but she knew she would get used to it sometime. And working at a special school was a whole other story. Some of the students could kill any of their teachers in a matter of moments, and half the teachers could too. Now, Chase isn't exactly weak, but she could probably get overpowered pretty easily.
She groaned, she had to stop thinking about things like that or she would become paranoid. Chase stopped what she was doing and just looked at her class work. It seemed like everyone was getting alon fine and that they were all working. She was thankful that there hadn't been any trouble yet. She sighed and got back to work.

The girl sitting at the very end of the row scowled unhappily, as she her computer once again came up with an error sign. Resisting the urge to kick the worthless thing, she glanced discreetly around the room, not wanting to look like she wasn't actually working. She hated school with a passion, although it gave her something to do other than sit on a street and wonder who was going to attack her next. That, she had no problem with. This seven page play, however, she did have a huge problem with.
Being a werewolf, she hadn't really studied much human history before, and as she'd spent most of her life on the run, very little of her time had been spent on a 'proper education', as the government so naively called it. Kazza sighed and pressed the off button for her computer, deciding that she'd jsut make up some mumbo jumbo about the Black Plague. She actually did know something about that, at least. Not that she'd be able to write a play with it.
As she took out her notebook, she checked to see that the teacher wasn't looking before she opened it. Inside, pages and pages of the book were covered in drawing, ranging from rough, horrible sketches to full shaded dinosaurs. She turned to a fresh page, wrote a heading and stared blankly at the paper. Of course, if the teacher so much as glaned in her direction, she'd act as though she had merely been thinking about what to write, and scratch some useless information about the plague on her page. Obviously, an A in this particular subject wasn't at the top of her list.

Chase ran her finger through her hair after sge finished grading a handful of assignments. She rubbed her eyes, before checking up on her class to see if they were actually working. Everyone seemed to be working diligently, except for one. Chase tried to think of why someone who was supposed to be typing up a play, would have their computer off. She stood up from her chair, yawning while she did, and made her way over to where Karene was sitting. "Why is your computer off?" Chase asked her, then noticed the notebook that the girl had been holding.
She crossed her arms and gave Kazza a stern look. "I know this assignment isn't that fun, but that doesn't mean you should just blow it off." Chase stated, matter-a-factly. She let out a small sigh. Students try to pretend they are working all the time, but she wasn't stupid. Chase could see through Kazza's set up, that notebook probably had nothing English related in it, and she probably wasn't working. "If I see that notebook out again, I will have to take it away." She said, softer this time. And with that, she turned to walk back towards her desk.
Chase didn't mean to make that whole situation a spectacle, and she knew that she probably embaraced the poor girl in front of the whole class. But, order had to be inforced. This is Chase's classroom, and she could do whatever she wanted with it. Her rules had to be followed, or else there may be a detention issued. She sat down back at her desk, a small smirk was on her face. That was the first time all year she had to talk to someone, and it feelt kind of good.

Hearing the teahcer get up, kazza blinked and hoped that she hadn't noticed... But, as usual, her luck hadn't been with her. She sighed, and prepared herself for the grilling that she knew was coming. "Umm... Because..." She muttered, not really sure what to say. Oh, how she hated technology. Was that an excuse to have your computer off? She supposed not. At any rate, she wasn't going to have many free afternoons, as this teacher would probably force her to finish the play. Eitehr that or she'd be in detention for not completing it.
This time, it was Kazza's turn to sigh and bite the inside of her mouth. There were a million things she felt like saying right now, like how she didn't know anything about human history, that it wasn't her fault, how she came here not too get good grades but to learn to control herself. She supposed that she'd be controlling her tongue around this teacher, though. Grudgingly, she shoved her book back into her bag, and flicked the on switch for her computer, ignoring the giggles coming from the other students. She wasn't easily embarassed by such trivial things, although this essay was getting on her nerves, along with the particularly hyper pair sitting next to her.
Drumming her fingers on the desk as she waited for the computer to load, she caught sight of the teacher's smirk and tried her hardest not to scowl. Glaring at the screen instead, she ground her teeth in frustration, resigned to the fact that this was going to be a bad lesson.
((Sorry that it's rushed... My dad is kicking me off >.>))

Chase looked at the back of the girls head she had yelled at for a couple seconds. Then took a few notes on how Karene Chambers may be trouble during upcoming classes. She would have to keep an eye on her so she actually does her work, instead of doing whatever it was she was doing in that notebook. Chase tapped her pencil on the desk for a little bit, she had no idea what she would do next. Now, since she had just corrected a student, she wasn't in the mood to finish grading papers. She moved her shair side to side, before remembering the othet night she was playing a really fun online game
After about thirty minutes of staring at the blinding computer screen, the bell rang, signaling that the class was over. "The paper is due this Friday, so work on it when you can!" Chase said, mindlessly, still staring at her computer screen. The students filed out of the computer lab, leaving her alone. A few minutes after the bell rang, there was a small knock on the computer lab door, even though the door was open. She turned to see who it was.

Finally, just as the computer loaded... The bell rang. Kazza blinked in disbilief. For the first time that day, she was actually about to do some work, and then class ended just as she got onto it? Was the whole world hellbent on keeping her from finishing this essay? Well, she hadn't really expected much else; she'd always had the worst luck. Doing her best not to kick the computer, the teenager stood, pushed in her chair and filed out the door with the rest of the students. The energetic pair from before whispered in each others ears, and shot Karene a few glances. She rolled her eyes, but didn't respond otherwise, determined that she would make it through her first day without being involved in a fight. Of course, the option really wasn't left up to her.
As soon as she was out the door, the two girls descended upon Kazza, evidently having decided to pick on the youngest, and the scrawniest, kid in the class. The first girl grinned, and grabbed the brunette's hand before she dragged the thirteen year old back towards the classroom. Not wanting to start something, Kazza allowed herself to be dragged back towards the door, and didn't struggle as she was jerked around. So far, no one had noticed. The girl then knocked on the door, and shoved the teenager through.
The girl prayed that the teacher hadn't noticed her, that she'd be able to just walk out of here. Unfortunately, she turned around, and Kazza knew that she would have to think up some excuse for her being there. The pair had already run off, leaving the student to an akward situation. "Uh... Sorry about earlier..." She lied, not really sorry at all, just grasping at straws. Dobbing the two girls in would only make things worse, in her eyes. Anyway, she'd handled evil psychopaths chasing her, surely she could deal with a bit of bullying?
(It's cool. I didn't give you all that much to work with, afterall...)

Victoria skipped down the hall, glee filling her heart. She knew that she was late, but she didn't care. Vivian was happy about last weeks discovery. If the Joker was really teaching here, then other rumors had to be true, like the Villains wanting to traain some of the kids. But that wasn't what delighted Vivi so, no, it was what she had heard earlier that day. Her favorite teacher was back. She hadn't seen him, nor talked to him much and hearing about his very presence made her heart flutter. Harvey Dent. She had to arrange a meeting with him, reaquaint herself with the only person that ever had a place in her heart.
Pausing outside the door, she forged Mr. Napier's signature and wrote a time down and knocked lightly on the door. A sly smile crossed her lips for only a moment and then she mimed an exasperated expression, walking calmly into the room, though playing at having to try and catch her breath. Victoria handed the pass to the teacher. "Ohmigod, i am so sorry that i am late, miss. I was held back a bit and had to talk to the Teach and I'm sorry, Miss Chase." Victoria blunk her eyes and glanced around the room. 'We missed class,'[/i] Vivian thought. She looked around in astonishment. "I am so sorry... I didn't think i was talking that long. Miss Pennington, may you please inform me of what we had done in class today?"

Chase blinked a few times at Kazza who was standing in her door way. "Whatever. Just don't let it happen again." She said, and then turned back to her computer screen, she was playing a game called conquer the castles. The object of this game was to throw rocks and bombs at the castles and you have to kill everyone in them. It was pretty freaking fun.
Just then, a student came into the room, clearly upset about missing class, and was talking really fast. Chase groaned and minimized conquer the castles on her computer. She turned her whole chair around and faced the girl. "Oh really? You stayed late for your other class? Thats extreme;y hard to believe." Sne sneered, and rustled through a few papers. When she found the one she was looking for, she held it out to Vivian.
"We worked on writing a play about a historic event. Its due Friday, and if yours isn't in the hand in bin by Friday, it will be a detention." Chase peered over at Kazza. "That goes for you too." She turned her whole chair back around, and continued playing conquer the castles.

Clark Kent couldn't help but overhear that a few of his students had a deadline by Friday. He kind of hated to see them waste their time and not use their abilities. And that Kazza girl had something about her that could be turned into something really good. He could tell by the way that she didn't tell the teacher on the bullies that were picking on her. Clark wanted to step in on that, but he had to play the "weak nerdy teacher" card. Maybe if things became drastically unlucky, he'd get the chance to train some of the students as Superman. The nerdy looking man walked into the room and straight up to Chase's desk. They met once. And he could tell that she already hated him with a burning passion because he was a weak cowardly man.
He handed her the Ipod he pickpocketed from her so he could come in and glance at some of the students he would have in his Journalism class the next day. He figured this trinket was of value to the woman. It wasn't normally like him to be dishonest. But a white lie never hurt anybody.
[blue]"Excuse me, Ms. Pennington?"[/blue]
He pushed his glasses back over his eyes while looking down at her. He handed her an ipod.
[blue]"This is yours, correct? Found it in the hallway of all places."[/blue]
His fingers from down below sent two mini-paper airplanes to both Kazza and Victoria Cri. They both carried the same note, as they zipped into their hands perfectly and quicker then the naked eye could see. Clark was good at being unnoticable. The note said in neat cursive:
Need help with your Writing Paper? I noticed you had a deadline. Come to room 204 tomorrow at 4 PM exactly and it's yours. I'm a pretty good tutor.
His eyes were making perfect eye contact with Chase as the bullet notes zipped perfectly in the two student's hands. He also wanted to know more about this new English teacher. Like her abilties and such.

[sorry for the shortness...]
Victoria glared back at the teacher. ’Detention-shmention. Who does she think she is?!?’[/i] Vivian whined. Vickie held back a chuckle. ’She is the teacher, Viv. She can do that, you know.’[/i] Blinking softly, she listened to what the teacher told her. Vic’s eyes got wide. Before she could complain, she noticed a teacher come into the room, Ipod in hand. She knew better to think it was his. As he spoke, she watched him throw an airplane her way. Her hands moved just as fast downward to catch and gently placed it behind her back.
Turning to mime leaving, she quickly opened the note and read what it had to say. Her eyes lit up. Taking a few steps, she turned around again, throwing Clark a wink to tell him that she was game. ”O, Miss. Chase. Could you give me a couple of the details that I will need to know for this project?”

Relieved that she wasn't going to have to go through yet anotehr scolding in the space of about three minutes, she half turned to go, but froze at the sound of a student's approach. She blinked as another girl entered the classroom, quieter than she'd expected. She tried not to roll her eyes as the late student and English teacher spoke, but half snorted towards the end. Thankfully, she passed it off as a sneeze. Then, when the essay came up for the second time, Kazza glared at Chase when she played the detention card again. Pfft. One day in, and I already have a teacher that hates my guts... The other girl seemed to share her dislike of this teacher, and the werewolf smirked as she walked towards the door. Her exit was blocked for the second time, however, when yet another teacher decided to walk in.
Kazza watched as he handed Ms. Pennington the iPod, and struggled to pull the paper aeroplanes he had thrown into focus. She managed to keep them in view right up until they landed in the two student's hands, and she carefully slipped hers into her pocket, having decided to read it later. She noticed the other girl turn around, as if to leave, and saw her take out the paper. She scanned it, and winked at the other man. Confused, kazza absently slipped her hands in her pockets, and drew out the crumpled note hidden underneath the long sleeves of her jacket.
She frowned as she read the neat print, trying to decide whether she should decline or not. Her mind made up, she shoved the paper deep in her pocket, and nodded her head slightly. In order to seem less suspicious, she tossed her hair at the same time, before she walked out the door, calling out as she left. "I've got a class to get to... See ya." And with that, the urchin disappeared down the hall, not pausing even to look back.

Chase looked up at Clark. Why did there have to be so many interruptions? She just wanted to beat the castle game and move on. Two students and a teacher, it was like they were just doing this to bug her. "What do you want Clark?" She said, extremely annoyed. He held out her ipod and she snatched it out of his hand. It was missing for a few days, and was somewhat happy to get it back.
"Thanks...I guess." Chase grumbled, and put the ipod on the desk. "Oh my god, no there isn't. Just write a play on something historic. Thats it. I don't care what event you use, just get it done." She snarled at Victoria. It wasn't that hard, why did she need more details? Chase didn't even say bye to Kazza, she just wanted to get back to her game. "Clark, where did you find it? She questioned.
