[ PLOT | RULES | APPLICATION | CLAIMS ]
All you hear about these days is big city rumors: what city's crime rate is higher? which city houses the highest number of celebrities? which city is most appealing to the tourism industry? You rarely hear about the warm atmosphere of the little farming communities, nestled away in rolling, everlasting hills.. Little does the world know, they're missing out on a rich experience, filled
with plenty of lasting friendships, old time chivalry, and the simple things in life.
Welcome to Jacksen, Illinois, exit 55 off I-55. It's a small farming-based community in Livingston County whose population never reaches any higher than four hundred. It's a place where everyone knows your name, and where five generations can be tracked through the local cemetery.
A homely place, Jacksen hasn’t left the 20th Century. If anything, the only modern influence one may see is the latest John Deer equipment. The last recorded "murder" was over twenty years ago (the funny thing is, it was actually that of a goat who got out of his pen, consequently getting in the way of poor Farmer Brown whom was out at four in the morning to begin plowing the fields). The largest social event of the year in Jacksen is the Church’s Summer Carnival.
Jacksen, though a small community, is the perfect place to live. The folk are great, the school (though small) offering plenty of educational opportunity.. The community welcomes all that choose to live life to the fullest, without all the unneeded material things that just prevent one from truly living. With plenty of fresh air and land to sow your seeds,
what more do you need?
