Riyu didn't mind the momentary quiet that surrounded them. It was peaceful, which was a rare delight for her. Superhuman hearing normally leaves her no kinds of rest. This boys voice was pretty nice, too, so hearing him speak wasn't a damper on her peace.
"I think that the school is quite interesting. And it is a lot better than where i used to be. I would rather have a nice warm bed alone than sharing a cold wood floor with street kids." She admitted. "It is a very strange experience for me though. I never got to go to a real school before." 'Nor ever have any friends other than my pets and Damian,' she add to herself.

Drew just looked at her. "Yeah, its pretty interesting," He muttered to himself, agreeing with her. "That sounds sucky, and other schools aren't that great. They're full of annoying people," Drew said and shuttered slightly. He didn't have all that great memories from his old high school.
"It's just full of cliques and drama..it's a lot worse than here for us because we have abilities," He added, and sighed. "So, here we are." Drew said, staring at the girls dorms. The night wasn't wasted, it was nice to meet a friend, because he didn't have many to begin with.

"Then i guess that i did not miss much," Rikaeyu giggled. That was a rare thing for her and it caught her off guard. She just giggled. How many times tonight had she giggled? Riyu shrugged her shoulders. It didn't matter.
To Rikku's surprise, they were there. That was a lot faster than she had hoped for.
"So, here we are."
She blinked a couple of times, wondering if it had been her imagination. "I-i guess so," she said, turning to look at the boy. "Th-thank you so very much, Drew. I hope to see you around sometime. I-it was a lot of fun talking to you." She stuttered just a little. She was nowhere near Arkham now... why was she still stuttering? "Well, i guess this is good night."

Drew smiled at her, though he didn't know if she saw it because of how dark it was out. "It was fun talking to you too," He said and gave her a small wave. "Good night," Drew bid her farewell and began walking towards the mens dorms.
It was a strange night, but nonetheless, he had made a friend. And that was all that mattered.
