Chase was bored out of her mind. She was finished all of her teacherly duties for the morning, and right now she was trying to enjoy one of her two free periods. And of course, today there was nothing to do. She wished that she atleast had some papers to grade, but she didn't, so she would just have to make due with what she was doing now. Wandering the halls. Most of the time students got yelled at for doing this, but there was nothing in the rule book that prohibited teachers from doing it.
As she was walking, she couldn't help but think about where her life was taking her. It felt as if she was just going to roam around from place to place all her life, and never settle down. Her sister, who was about two years younger than her, had already found love, and had one kid. Chase envied her, and wondered why she hadn't been the first to settle down. The answer she came across was simple, and practically everyone knew it. She was mean, and ill-tempered and that doesn't exactly attract guys. Plus she was somewhat strict, judging from what she hears about herself from her students.
"Do you have a pass?" Chase asked a lone student in the hallway. He looked somewhat scared, and shook his head. She rolled her eyes and took a small peice of paper from her notebook. Chase scribbled something on it and handed it to the kid. "Now you do," She said, and began walking away. Chase didn't turn back to the kid, she did have small waves of sympathy for students, especially the shy ones. She clicked her pen a few times and rounded the corner, wondering where she should go next.

Frank had tall dark looks. He did attract women. Mostly because he was a 'classic' kind of handsome. He was always clean cut aside from the occasional forgetfullness to shave. Always clean. Always in a bad mood. For some strange reason, women loved that. And he had to turn them all down. Dead weights were never in his best interest. Most women besides the one that was taken from him were.
He kept walking until he saw a corner and turned. He bumped into this young woman. He was naturally bigger then her in muscle mass so he took two steps back catching himself.
[red]"OOF!"[/red]
Frank noticed he knocked this woman down. Heh... Great, he thought. One more person he'd help out. This time it was his fault though. He offered the strangely grumpy looking woman his hand. His expression remained unchanging. The perfect dark poker pace.
[red]"Sorry..."[/red]

Chase didn't even know what hit her. Literally. She fell right on her butt with a small thud and groaned. So, I really can't go one day without falling over.. Chase grabbed her notebook and reached for her pen which was a few inches away. She looked up at the man's hand and rolled her eyes. A woman like her didn't need help getting off the ground. She quickly picked herself up, and dusted some dirt off of her. Does this place even hire janitors? Chase scowled in her mind as she flicked a peice of dirt off of her v-neck red sweater.
"Sorry..."
She couldn't help but roll her eyes again. Chase didn't need to be apologized to, she didn't need anyone talking to her right now at all. She looked him over for a few moments, trying to figure out if she had met him before. It turns out that she had never seen this man before in her life. "Whatever." Chase answered his apology and pushed passed him. After a few steps, she did turn back. It seemed that everything she was thinking a moment before was in vain. Chase sighed and wipred her face with her hand. "And I'm sorry too..its just been a long week."
Chase took a few steps towards the man and shifted her wight to her left foot. "I'm Chase, by the way."

Frank offered Chase his hand. He didn't have any bias against this woman. He kind of smirked when she pushed past him at first. It was cute. Getting attitude from a woman for once. His blue grey eyes stared in curiousity as he responded to this interesting woman.
[red]"I'm Frank Castle. It's perfectly ok."[/red]
He grinned.
[red]"I had it coming for knocking you over anyway.[/red]
He felt like being kind of a funny smartass for that second. The wierd thing about this is the Punisher never smiles. He never laughs. He never gets friendly with younger women. She was pretty attractive though. And judging from the way she talked down to men, Frank could guess she was single. His inner thoughts cam back into play.
[red]What are you doing?? You're supposed to kill people Frank. Not converse with them.[/red]
His mind focused back to Frank Castle, ex FBI agent. He decided to play the Punisher card another time.
[yellow]Frank...Shut up.[/yellow]
His Punisher thought came back to haunt him.
[red]OH if only it were that easy...[/red]

Chase felt herself smile slightly, which was surprising because only about a few minutes ago she was all mad and annoyed. She laughed slightly at what he said about knocking her over. Chase shrugged and dug her hands into her jean pockets. "Shit happens." She said, nonchalantly. That saying was like the story of her life at the moment. So many terrible things had started to happen once she started at South, it was like the school just gave out bad luck on a daily basis. Chase thought about this for a moment, afterall she did believe that everything happens for a reason. Maybe all this bad was going to turn into something good.
Chase stared at Frank's eyes for a few moments. They were like a mixture of grey and blue, and she thought they were cool looking. "So Frank, you certainly don't look like a student. And you don't look like a janitor either, which brings me to the conclusion that your a teacher." She said, stating the obvious. "Don't mind me asking, but what subject to you teach?" Chase questioned, taking her hands out of her pockets and placing them on her hips.

Frank decided to be a jackass. He was really good at intimidating people and when she asked what subject Frank taught, there was no other way to get around this. His smile suddenly turned to a glare as his dark and brooding voice lowered and said quietly as he walked closer:
[red]"If I told you... I'd have to kill you..."[/red]
His death glare turned to a smirk. He didn't know if his interrogation persona scared her or not. He was just looking for kicks in that second. He didn't move. He was still 3 feet from her.
[red]"Just kidding. I teach combat oriented gymn. It's a mixture of two subjects. And with the kids we have around here, they need a military man to get them fit..."[/red]
He winked at her. Still smirking. It was hard for Frank to not look deathly serious. It was like he forgot to smile. Or laugh. A smirk was lucky here or there. Seeing as he lightened this woman's mood, he felt like he also owed it to her to continue this conversation.
[red]"I assume despite the tight fit clothes that you look rather good in by the way, you're a teacher too. What subject would a beautiful woman teach? Science? Nah you don't look like a scientist..."[/red]
He assumed she taught there. He didn't really know though. Hell she looked almost young enough to be a student. He crossed his arms and put his fist up to his mouth as if thinking when really he was waiting for a response. Frank could have a conversation. It was no big. And it seemed like she didn't know who he was. Like most around there. They all just said he looked familiar. He used to be all over the news. Wiping out a CIA unit that stood in his way. Killing countless gangs and mobsters. Frank was notorious and considered evil to some, and a savior to others. He assumed she wouldn't put two and two together. Like most.

Chase searched Frank's face for a sign if what he said was a joke or not. She let out a small sigh of relief when he started to smirk. "I thought you were serious." Chase giggled a little bit. She shifted her weight slightly as he began to explain what was his job at the high school. Chase laughed when he mentioned about how the students needed a military to get them fixed.
Her face turned pinkish when he told her she looked good in her outfit. Science? Fuck no, thats my worst subject." Chase answered, smiling. "I teach english. Its a really dull subject though, and the students have no idea what proper grammar is." She rolled her eyes, on about half of the book reports she had graded so far, somewhere in it the student had said 'wen' for when or 'y' why. And it was all thanks to stupid texting and facebook.
((i finally replied!! woot! what has it been, like a month? sorry it sucks though))
