Standing outside in the cold with a muscle shirt and shorts, Darcy had his arms crossed. He counted the time in his head. 21 minutes 58 seconds late. Drew had the potential for greatness. Like how Darcy was a puny worthless fighter when he started, so is he. He had to train him. Darcy told the boy to bring a first aid kit and tape for his hands. When asked why, Darcy simply said to just bring them. He'd need those things by the end of the day.
He continued to cross his arms and think. It was still fairly light out but cold. He was used to the temperature. Anyone can survive in a mild hypothermic state. Darcy trained himself to ignore the cold. It didn't even phase him.
22 mintes. He was late. Darcy also told the boy that they'd work out together and get fit. Apparently, he had a whole different meaning to the words "working out" then Drew could ever consider. If only he could get here though... They could begin their training.

Drew shivered as he took the path towards where Darcy wanted them to meet. He really didn't know why he was doing this. Maybe because he wanted to be all muscular. Girls like muscular guys. Or maybe it was because he was sick of being weak and puny. Drew did used to get picked on by school bullies, but then again, so did everyone else. The only other reason he thought why he would have agreed to this was because Darcy was the only person he was friends with at the time, and he wanted them to stay friends.
"I have the first aid kit and the tape." Drew said, he could see his breath. He looked at Darcy in astonishment, he was only wearing a muscle shirt and shorts. Drew was wearing a sweatshirt and sweat pants, yet he was still freezing. "Aren't you cold?" He asked him, still surprised at what he was wearing. Drew shook his head, he was right when he first saw Darcy, he seriously was hardcore. "And what are we even doing out here, anyway? I thought we were going to work out and stuff like that. Not freeze our asses off." He added, dropping the first aid kit and tape to the ground.

[yellow]"Oh we're going to work out Drew."[/yellow]
Darcy said with a ton of enthusiasm. His grin seemed playful at the time when the dark assassin was going to surprise the poor kid with this comment. Drew now had a choice. Learn to fight or use a killer's gift in cowardice. Darcy wished he was invisible. What he'd do with that gift would be no less then epic. Darcy grinned saying only this to our confused wimpy youth.
[yellow]"I know blokes like you. You get bullied and beaten only with the wish of getting stronger. I am offering that gift to you. A while back you asked me what my gifts were and I never answered. I was saving the answer for this moment."[/yellow]
He got into a martial artist fighting stance. The forest around them seemed to rattle in the wind as his hair started to sway. The field they stood in was touched by man, but served as a proper training ground for the combat orients of the school. Wayne used it for his self defense class before ditching the school and its students.
[yellow]"I want you to hit me as hard and fast as you can. Your combat experience indicates how much help you truly need. Show me."[/yellow]

Drew stared at Darcy's grin, it was creeping him out. And how were they supposed to work out in the freezing cold? If it was running, then he would be fine, he was always good at running, especiallywhen he was running away from other people. He listened intently on what Darcy was saying, and he had nailed it completely. Drew was weak, and he had gotten picked on all of his life. Drew nodded slightly, he understood what he was saying. Everytime he had gotten picked on, he wanted to fight back, but never had the courage too. He watched Darcy get into a fighting stance. "You want me to hit you?!" Drew asked.
He didn't want to hit him, he probably wasn't strong enough to even bruise him. Drew sighed and formed his one hand into a fist. He knew this probably wouldn't hurt Darcy at all, but if he didn't do it, then how would he learn? Drew took a few steps forward and threw a punch at him. He knew that Darcy said 'as fast as you can', but Drew didn't know how, because he never tried to punch anyone before in his life.

For starters, Darcy noticed a ton of problems with Drew's technique (or lack of). He had one arm down, didn't put any weight into his punch and wasn't aiming to harm Darcy at all. Bad idea. Ducking at the punch of the taller boy, Darcy turned and latched onto Drew's arm, flipping him over his shoulder. As soon as Drew hit the ground, Darcy still holding onto Drews arm, took his right fist and punched Drew really hard in the side of the face. Not enough to knock him out. Enough to spread a message.
[yellow]"First lesson of the day: Put your weight into it. It hurts more."[/yellow]
He let get of Drew's arm and let him get up. This would be the first day of training. There were sure to be a pluthera of errors Darcy had to correct.
[yellow]"Right?"[/yellow]

Drew hit the ground with a small thud. He was in to much of a daze to know what had just happened. As he was about to say something, he felt a hard fist plunge into the side of his face. He yelped, and held it for a few seconds. Am I bleeding? ...no, I'm not. Thank god. Drew staggered to stand up, he didn't appriciate Darcy going so hard on him. He could probably tell how terrible he was at fighting. "You punched me in the face!" Drew exclaimed, rubbing the side of his face once more.
He felt a bump on his face, but it was nothing compared to what he endured in middle school. "Put my weight on it," Drew repeated and nodded. He let out a huge breath and tried to mimic Darcy's stance. Drew waited a couple of seconds, before lunging towards him. This was something he learned from the football team, whenever he ran, they would tackle him.

Darcy smiled and changed stances. There were three stances to truly emphasize on on close quarters combat. Attack, defense and stealth. Stealth was the user's ability to blend into a surrounding. It was also of the most difficult to master. Darcy decided to go on the offensive this time. Now that Drew had a chance to hit him, he had to see how he was when put under pressure.
Darcy was an incredibly fast sprinter. He was a good runner, but his prowess for 100 meters in a dash was almost olympic. He dashed towards the confused boy who was also running at him, slid and kicked the boy in the chin. Then, as the boy felt the pressure there, Darcy spiraled his legs, knocking the boy down in the process while he rolled a few feet away. He noticed the boy blacked out in his efforts to defend himself. Oh boy...
[yellow]"I say old chap! Are you alright?"[/yellow]
He bent down where Drew was laying and poked him in the forehead with his index finger.
[yellow]"Lesson 2: When in doubt, dodge the attack. Don't defend yourself or try to if you don't know how."[/yellow]

Drew layed there with his eyes wide open, feeling Darcy poke his forehead. He didn't want to get up, he would probably get hurt even more. "Well, Darcy,"" he spat, "I was kicked in the chin, my head still hurts from getting punched, and now my back feels all weird." Drew swatted his hand away from his forehead and begrudgingly attempted to stand up.
He dusted some of the dirt off of himself and felt his chin. "Damn it! I'm bleeding out my chin!" Drew growled, he was dazed and confused. He knew he had to learn, but did Darcy really have to hurt him so bad. Drew wiped some of the blood off of his chin and just stared at him. "Look! Its Superman!" He exclaimed, pointing up at the sky. Drew had used this on some of his old bullies, and they all bought it, but Darcy was smarter than them. He didn't know whether or not he fell for it, but Drew attempted to kick Darcy in the family jewels.

Darcy looked. His eyes narrowed as he instinctually caught the kick to his groin. Slowly moving his head back to Drew, before the confused boy knew it Darcy out of anger skidded in closer and backfisted Drew in the other side of the face. About hard enough to knock him out. But he didn't stop there. Lifting his left knee to his chest, his foot slammed into Drew's diaphram, knocking him off his feet. That would probably be enough for today. Drew did have to get up to fight twice afterall. No point in going on unless he wanted it. The thing about Darcy and his fighting style that was so different from his master: He instead of using short powerful blows, focused more on taking them down with his flexibility and speed. With speed afterall came power to one's attacks. You didn't have to be strong to beat the shit out of someone. Just had to know what you were doing and actually do it.
Darcy's smile turned to a frown. This time he didn't offer to help his friend up. He said only this while the the boy was nearly blacked out from the trauma of getting kicked in the chest:
[yellow]"Final lesson of the day: Never underestimate your enemy. Did you really think I'd fall for that?"[/yellow]
Darcy grinned and threw him the first aid kit.
[yellow]"You have to do much better then that. Now I presume you know what that is for?"[/yellow]
He crossed his arms. He was beginning to get warmed up and if he didn't rub his chest, he would lsoe all of that excess heat he gained in showing his friend his first combat lesson.
[yellow]"If you want to continue with your training today, all you have to do is say so. But I wouldn't recommend it. Either way... We're going to make you a fighter, Drew. Pacifist or not."[/yellow]

Drew held his nose tightly, it was bleeding excessively. "I don't think you understand how much I dislike you right now." He said, reaching for the first aid kit and took out some tissues to stick up his nose. It had happened to him numerous times before, so he was experienced in daling with it. Once again, he didn't feel like standing up. The half of his face that had been punched earlier was smushed against the cold ground. Drew ripped the napkin in two and wadded both of them up. He stuck one of them in each nostril and forced himself to stand up.
"I had a feeling you wouldn't fall for it. The only people who do are the idiots on the football team," He muttered, wiping a little bit of blood off of his upper lip. Drew shook his head slightly at what Darcy said about continuing their little 'lesson'. "Nah, I think I will pass on continuing," He said, in all seriousness. He didn't know how much of this he could take, and he sure didn't want to see. The last thing Drew wanted was to have an extreme injury thanks to Darcy.

Darcy grinned changing the workout a little different now. Playfully hitting his shoulder, he laughed.
[yellow]"It's ok man. The real training starts tomorrow..."[/yellow]
He started jogging in place. Warming up again. He saw that Drew had the makings of a good fighter despite the fact that right now he more or less a coward. When offered by his master to pass or continue, Darcy kept on fighting until he was knocked out. That was his first lesson. He started to jog back to the school as he looked back and smiled.
[yellow]"We'll fix you up when we get back to the school. How about a jog?"[/yellow]

Drew watched as Darcy hit his shoulder and just stared at it for a few moments. It was probably going to bruise. He rubbed his one eye a little bit and sighed. "Really? Tomorrow are you going to beat me up more, or are you going to show me how to do things, so I don't get hurt that much?" Drew asked, somewhat sarcastically. He was not looking forward to their next lesson, the last thing he wanted was to get hurt even more. If anyone saw what he looked like now, they would probably burst out laughing. Drew watched Darcy start to jog in place and rolled his eyes. Show off.
He shurgged when he said that he could 'fix him up' and that they should go for a jog. "I'd rather the nurse take care of me than you," Drew said and smirked, he hoped the nurse was one of the cute, young kinds, not the old, creepy kind. "And a jog sounds fine," He added. Finally, something he was good at. Drew took off running to catch up with Darcy, barely breaking a sweat. "So, what is our lesson going to be on tomorrow?" He asked him, while taking off his sweatshirt. All of that ass kicking made him hot, even though it was freezing.
