Bruce sat at a table in Starbucks, since Alfred had died last week, he was all alone now. He reached for his black coffee, no cream, no sugar, just coffee. He flipped a page and entered a string of numbers and letters into excel with the other. "Man, what is this, like invoice fourthousand?" he asked, seemingly to himself, until his computer responded, "Invoice four thousand fifty, ten more to go" Bats groaned, and punched in ten more strings, closing his lenovo T400, and draining his coffee, dropping it in the trash, and heading back to Campus, to get ready for another twelve hours of staring at computer screens tomorrow. A professor's work is never done.

Chase was bouncing on her toes as she waited for the clerk person to get her coffee. She needed it REALLY badly. Like, if she didn't get her coffee she would probably get into a bad mood and then take it out on her students. Even though her students aren't exactly the best... Chase wrapped her fingers around the sleeve on her coffee cup, her eyes wide like a little kid in a candy shop. This was the only thing that she looked forward in the morning, her coffee. She took a sip of it, and sighed.
She started walking towards the door, when she saw someone familiar walking out. Should she go and talk to him or should she just let him go? Chase didn't even think about it that long, she was in a good mood, so she decided to go and talk to him. "Hey!" She tapped him on his shoulder. "You look extremely familiar...do I know you from South..or some othet place?" Chase asked, while taking another sip of her coffee.

Bruce paused, turning around, and saw Chase. "OH, hey, Yeah, I'm Bruce, I teach at South High" What a strange person, to sort of recognize him, but not really. His hand flashed quickly, too fast for the human eye to see, and a business card was embedded in the wall, a fly cut in half. He turned back to her, and said "What's up, I'm always happy to talk to a fellow South High-er" He smiled, and thought, 'Why am I being so amiable, I'm the god-damned DARK KNIGHT OF GOTHAM!!! Whatever, let this thing ride out' he chuckled, and waited for a response.

Chase nodded. "Yeah..do you like teaching there? I mean, its a little cool...but the students are idiotic and disrespectful." She said, and thought about what she said for a couple seconds, making sure that it made sense. It did. Chase took another sip of her coffee, it was freezing in Gotham, so the coffee warmed her up. "Bruce...Wayne? Are you that really rich guy that owns Wayne Enterprises?" She asked him. That might be also where she recognized him from, but she wasn't so sure. Well, his name was Bruce, and he lived in Gotham, and she had heard that he might ne teaching at South, and this Bruce did. So yeah, she was about 70% sure she was right.

"Well, yeah, It's pretyy nice, and the students are rather fun. And yes, I'm Bruce Wayne, that rich guy, what can I do for you?" he chuckled, that signature laugh ringing out. "My doors are always open, and my cell-phone always accessible, If you ever need anything, just let me know" He smiled, and turned away.
