History
Darcy Alfonse Leone was born on November 21st, 1493 in the city of Bordeaux France. He was the youngest in a family of eight, and the only male heir to the Duke’s fortune. His parents, were among the wealthiest noblemen in France. France’s royal history dates back that far, but any other members of the Leone clan were wiped from Archive in the French Revolution (1789). The fate of his parents and whereabouts of his sisters are unknown.
Darcy’s story begins in his travels to Saudi Arabia. At the age of 18, he was an adventurer, eager to understand the philosophy and knowledge of the world. Fate struck a turn of events in the boy’s life, however. Aiding the hungry with a caravan of food and clothing, Darcy was attacked by a group of raiders in the Sahara Desert. He was the only one who survived the raid. After being bound, gagged and thrown on the back of a raider’s camel, Darcy was beset on a perilous journey to the Bhutan Mountains.
The raiders upon arrival at the top of a mountain, unbound Darcy and kicked him to his knees. He was dehydrated, frail and weak from the journey. Darcy’s bright blue eyes lost their shine indicating the boy was near death before meeting his master, Ra’s Al Ghul. He was given a chance at life, however. Ra’s Al Ghul, the leader of the oldest terrorist organization (The League of Shadows) offered the boy a chance at redemption in exchange for one thing. His soul and everlasting allegiance to The League of Shadows. What choice did Darcy have at the time?
Darcy was trained directly under Ra’s Al Ghul and although he wasn’t as skilled as his master, Darcy has maintained his status as one of the top 100 assassins in the world for 500 years. The only thing that’s changed is the many names and aliases he took to remain secretive in his work. As a League of Shadows member, Darcy was given the alias Al Iblis Ayn (The Demon’s Eyes) for his skill in long range weaponry.
The League of Shadows has been around since the days of Christ. Maybe earlier, as Ra’s Al Ghul hinted when he talked to Bruce Wayne. Darcy played but a small part in the success of this organization. Contrary to history’s belief, The League of Shadows instituted the French Revolution when France was at the height of its power. Darcy played a major part in the downfall of his country. This is the only historical account relating Darcy Leone to the League of Shadows as a General.
He left the League of Shadows in 1861, refusing to participate in the Civil War's devastation of the Americans. The reasons were unknown, but one could deduct why he made such a rash decision. Perhaps he was tired of fighting other people’s wars. Perhaps there were uneasy tensions between him, Ra’s Al Ghul and the League’s other Warlords. Perhaps he felt like a mere pawn in Al Ghul’s game, wanting more in life.
Little is known about Darcy after the 19th century. In 2010, he used a vast fortune he gained in his years of assassinations and theft to institute a school for super powered children. South High School was created as an attempt to revitalize the ideals of good and evil. For if there was one thing Darcy learned in his years of taking life and fighting wars was that humanity remained at a constant. There always had to be good and evil to counterbalance each other and keep the world in existence. It’s a terrible concept, creating a school that encourages both good and evil to prevail. It’s the only way to preserve the planet, however. He now spends his days as an unknown vigilante, unknown student to many and an unknown Dean of Students to all.

Darcy stood up from his desk and yawned. Guess the teacher had no clue that he was sleeping with his eyes open. Stretching and touching his hands to the floor, he looked up to see a towering figure looming over him. He smiled his usual fake smile.
[red]“Hi there! Can I help you?”[/red]
The towering ape of a man simply chuckled with his two friends that were to his side. He grabbed Darcy by the collar. Anger resided in his squinty green eyes.
[blue]“Yeah you can help me. Little birdy told me you were flirting with my girl. That kinda thing deserves an ass beating.”[/blue]
Darcy kept his hands up jokingly. His smile turned to a smirk. Did he flirt with a woman? No. Would he ever just randomly walk up to a woman and flirt with her? No. But he wasn’t going to tell him that. He was itching for a fight ever since he roamed the streets of Gotham as a vigilante. Sort of missed that.
[red]“I’m sure she was lovely. Look I’m gonna be late for something, so if you want to take this outside, I’d be more than happy to oblige. But I’ll warn you.”[/red]
He winked.
[red]“I haven’t lost a fight in years.”[/red]
This was in a way true. He hadn’t lost a fight in years. 216 years when he last encountered his master, Ra’s Al Ghul. He was the only man capable of beating Darcy in a fight. But naturally, a commoner wouldn’t understand or comprehend that. To this bully, Darcy was just a skinny little wimp. The big guy laughed and let him go.
[Blue]“Can you believe this fag? Alright. Outside it is.”[/blue]
So they walked out. Darcy kept the same smirk on his face as when he was in the building. The bully took no time to get started. Throwing a punch at Darcy’s face, he simply ducked to avoid the blow. The bully threw another. This time, Darcy caught the punch. The fist landed in his hand and stayed there while the bully stared amazed at Darcy’s strength and reflexes. Darcy looked down and took a deep breathe. The bully, heart rate way up by now, threw his left arm at Darcy’s face while he had his fist locked in his palm.
[red]“You work out.”[/red]
Darcy’s eyes opened and his right hand closed to reveal two fingers. Darcy used his immaculate timing to press his fingers against three major pressure points in the bully’s left arm. This temporarily paralyzed his left arm, making it go limp. Darcy then motioned his fingers to do the same with his locked arm. He let go of the fist and both arms on the massively muscular man looked like noodles. He couldn’t move them, and was swaying them from side to side. His face was all red and sweaty.
[blue]“What the hell did you do??”[/blue]
This time around, the only limbs the bully could use in the fight were his legs. He took two steps and lifted his right as leg as to kick Darcy in the chest. Wrong move. Darcy caught the man’s foot and quickly hit all the pressure points in his leg, demobilizing it. The man dropped on his limp knee, panting. Darcy paced around him, the friends watching dumfounded at what they saw.
[red]“What’s the matter? You said you were gonna beat my ass. Ohhhh that’s right!”[/red]
The man winced in pain as Darcy stopped.
[red]“You can’t. It’s all relatively painless, how I knock you out. But since you caught me in such a good mood-”[/red]
He threw his fist and sucker punched the man in the face. He hit the concrete with a sickening thud.

- Cold Blooded: It’s in the training. Darcy shows little mercy or remorse for those he eliminates. He severs most emotions while he works, focusing on the mission and the mission only. His reptilian nature is common among most League of Shadow vets. Batman and Ra’s Al Ghul would be examples of this.
- Constructive: While his master failed to see the truth in worldly balance, Darcy found that evil is necessary and useful in the construction and constitution of the future’s leaders. True balance comes from both sides and to create a new world order, Darcy believes he must construct good to fortify and evil to break those fortifications and inspire a new generation of heroes. This is the way of the world. Good will always triumph over evil. Evil however, always finds a way to resurrect itself. If one or the other aren’t present, nothing is constructed in the lives of human beings.
- Secretive: Telling people about himself just doesn’t happen. It endangers everything Darcy ever hoped to achieve. Secrecy is the only way Darcy can live in the world of man.
- Asshole: Depends on the person, but Darcy’s cold and callous nature may influence others to think he is nothing more than an asshole. He makes very short, jerk like responses when talking to people. It takes a certain person to understand Darcy’s better qualities… And overcome the obvious ones.
- Dangerous: If you stand in his way, Darcy Leone will end your existence. No question.
- Passionate Lover: Darcy is a 16th Century French Nobleman. Making love is in his roots. He just has yet to find the right woman to spend the rest of his days with.

- Immortality: Darcy had chronic access to the Lazarus Pits, located in the Bhutan Mountains (unknown to any but the League of Shadows). These hot springs are the key to a man’s eternal youth. Darcy has remained an 18 year old boy for 500 years. The plagues of disease and age have proven to be ineffective.

- Martial Artist: Darcy has grand mastery of four martial arts that he uses in battle.
- [red]Capoeira:[/red] A Brazilian Martial Art initially developed by African slaves in Brazil, starting in the Colonial period. It is marked by deft, tricky movements often played on the ground or completely inverted. It also has a strong acrobatic component in some versions and is always played with music. There are two main styles of Capoeira that are clearly distinct. Angola is characterized by slow, low play with particular attention to the rituals and tradition of Capoeira. The other style, Regional (pronounced 'heh-jeeh-oh-nahl' or '-now'), is known for its fluid acrobatic play, where technique and strategy are the key points. Both styles are marked by the use of feints and subterfuge, and use groundwork extensively, as well as sweeps, kicks, and head butts. Darcy mastered both styles.

Surely the true name, "Muay Thai" should be retained internationally. The focus of Muay Tai is short powerful jabs with the knees and fists. The purpose is to knock an opponent out which has proved useful to Darcy on many occasions.
- Ranged Weapons Specialist: While Darcy could easily hold his own in hand to hand combat, his true level of skill relies on the ability to hit an opponent with a ranged projectile. This could be anything from a ninja shuriken to a silenced .50 caliber sniper rifle. Anything. Darcy never misses.
- Genius: The prodigal adopted son of Ra’s Al Ghul. The reason Darcy was chosen to join the League of Shadows was because of his genius and tenacity in battle. His IQ is peak human at 148.
- Computor Hacker: He is well versed in the fairly new system of computer technology. He follows it as technology is upgraded every year and continuously enhances his skills.
- Chemist: A former terrorist, he knows all the components of chemical reactions and could recite to any one the components of the periodic table and tell what each element is used for. Justly so, Darcy is also immune to most toxins.
- Stealth: There are times where you fight in the open, and times where you know you’ll get your ass handed to you. In these times, Darcy likes to be stealthy and because of his size and training is extremely good at it. If he doesn’t want to be seen, you won’t see him.
